Canopius names Moore US CEO

Canopis Groupheadquartered in Chicago, IL, appointed Nadine Moore Serves as CEO of its U.S. operations. Based in Chicago, Moore will lead Canopius’ U.S. retail and wholesale operations. Moore will lead the US business from September 2026, reporting to group chief executive Neil Robertson, and will join the group leadership team.
Moore most recently served as a managing director and senior partner at The Boston Consulting Group. Over the course of her career, Moore has combined the distribution credentials of a placement broker, including producer experience while serving in senior roles at Aon, with the profitability understanding of a CFO. She also brings extensive M&A experience to the role, as well as proven AI program delivery in regulated insurance environments.
Howden Re appoints Sogliuzzo as managing director and head of North American maritime, energy and terror specialty treaties
Howden ReStamford, Conn.-based Howden, who leads global reinsurance, capital markets and strategic advisory businesses, has been appointed Jay Sogruzzo Serves as Managing Director, North American Ocean, Energy and Terrorism Specialty Treaty Leader.
Sogliuzzo joins Howden Re with 14 years of underwriting experience, most recently from Gen Re, where he was responsible for interim and treaty reinsurance in the marine and energy markets. His experience spans upstream energy, ocean and inland marine, and he has developed relationships with customers and underwriters across North America.
ACORD Solutions Group announces new Board of Directors

Howell is a delivery-focused, commercial technology leader with more than 20 years of experience supporting critical technology and transformation projects for global organizations. At Lockton Re, her responsibilities include developing technology strategy, overseeing major transformation initiatives and ensuring technology delivers sustainable growth, operational excellence and effective risk management. Her previous experience includes senior technology and change management roles at Marsh, as well as leadership roles in multiple industry DEI initiatives.
- Christina Lucasthe global market leader in the insurance industry, Google Cloud. Lucas previously served as President of Envista Forensics and Global Head of Industry Consulting for Guidewire. In addition, he held several senior management positions at AIG, including head of global claims business performance.

At Chubb, he directs a range of cybersecurity programs supporting operations in 54 countries and across all commercial and consumer lines of business. His decades of volunteer service in the ACORD community include serving as Chairman and Vice Chairman of the ACORD Board of Directors.
