Moves: Rousseau named international head of Marsh Re; Lockton hires Tatora as Canadian professional head Clio

swamp Announce Laurent Rousseau Serves as head of international operations for Marsh Re, effective immediately.

Rousseau, who is based in London, will continue to report to Marsh Re President and CEO Dean Klisura.

In this newly expanded role, Rousseau will lead Marsh Re’s Asia, Pacific, Latin America and Caribbean and EMEA regions. He will also continue to lead the global capital and advisory businesses. Rousseau will work with Marsh Re’s regional leaders to deliver the firm’s capabilities to clients in complex risk environments.

Prior to joining the company, Rousseau was CEO of French reinsurer SCOR, where he held leadership roles of increasing responsibility for 13 years. He began his career as an insurance equity research associate at Credit Suisse First Boston before moving to JP Morgan’s Mergers & Acquisitions Financial Institutions Group in London.

Lockton hires Tatora as Canadian professional director

Lockton Announce appointment Nikki Tatola Join Lockton’s growing, locally-led Canadian leadership team as a Canadian Professional Executive.

Tatora will lead the development of Lockton’s national specialty insurance and risk advisory capabilities, ensuring Canadian clients in key industry sectors benefit from specialized market expertise. Her core responsibility is to build the Canadian Signature Product Ecosystem, a comprehensive framework that combines Lockton’s technology practice teams with market solutions to provide clients with customized capabilities and policy structures that deliver long-term value to them. She will also guide the continued development of Lockton’s talent, industry proposition and domain expertise across the country.

Tatola has nearly 25 years of commercial insurance experience in Canada, particularly in the areas of complex allocations, portfolio allocation strategies and country practice management. Throughout her career, she has held senior national and regional leadership roles, leading commercial brokerage teams for major global firms. Tatora began his career as a personal insurance claims adjuster before transitioning into commercial brokerage.
