Asset management firm Arrow Global acquires MGA Fusion Specialty

Arrow Global Group (Arrow), A UK investment management company specializing in private credit and real estate announces subsidiary launch Arrow Global Insurance (AGI) Obtained Integrated professional groupprofessional management general agent.

AGI acquired Fusion from Sydney, Australia-based insurtech group POP Group Holdings for an undisclosed amount.

AGI is a professional insurance platform that underwrites insurance through its own MGA and also focuses on the acquisition of MGA business. General artificial intelligence is Launched in March Launched by Arrow Global Group as a vertical business to capture institutional investment opportunities across the insurance value chain.

Backed by long-term institutional capital, AGI aims to achieve attractive underwriting performance in a market with high barriers to entry, competitive fragmentation and technological complexity, Arrow explained.

Arrow added that the acquisition further strengthens AGI’s platform by adding another high-quality specialist MGA with a strong underwriting record.

Through AGI’s reinsurer Halldora Re and the broader Arrow platform, Arrow’s MGAs benefit from long-term underwriting capabilities, institutional capital and scalable operating infrastructure, which allows them to grow responsibly while maintaining underwriting discipline. Halldora Re is rated “A-” (Excellent) by AM Best and is owned by funds managed by Arrow Global Group.

Sydney-based Fusion operates on behalf of London market, European and other specialty insurers and “has built highly regarded underwriting franchises servicing policyholders in the UK, Europe, North America and other international markets,” Arrow said.

Since its launch in 2018, Fusion has processed more than 23,000 insurance applications and written approximately £290 million ($389 million) in total premiums for around 1,500 policyholders, with premium volumes more than doubling in the past two years.

The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions. All required regulatory approvals have been obtained and completion is expected in the third quarter of 2026.

Arthur J. Gallagher acquires Wilson M. Beck Insurance Services of Canada

Arthur J. Gallagher Company. Announced Acquisition of Burnaby, B.C. Wilson Baker Insurance Services, Inc. (WMB).

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

WMB provides retail insurance brokerage services primarily to commercial clients in Western Canada, specializing in the construction, commercial real estate, surety, hospitality and mining industries.

The WMB team, led by David Beck, will remain at its current location under the direction of Dave Partington, Gallagher’s head of retail property/casualty brokerage for Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean.

“WMB’s exceptional reputation for niche industry expertise will enhance our retail brokerage capabilities in Canada,” said J. Patrick Gallagher Jr., chairman and chief executive officer of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., Rolling Meadows, Illinois.

Gallagher operates in approximately 130 countries around the world through its own operations and a network of affiliated brokers and advisors.
